Rips at the pocket corners | | Don't put keys in your pockets! They cut like knives through the pocket corners and into the fur. |
Rips under rings | | Before sitting, be sure that your hooks are open. We tend to get wider when we sit, the coat doesn't. |
Rips under the arms | | When getting ready to sit, don't smooth the coat under you, lift it up behind you. This gives you more room to move, avoiding rips under the arms. |
Worn hemline | | The bottom of your lining is starting to get holes and is shredding. The best way to avoid this problem is to make your coat a little shorter so it doesn't hit your heels or drag in the slush. If you don't want to give up the glamour length, as soon as you start to notice the worn hemline have it patched with grosgrain. This fabric is stronger than a lining and gives you a few added years before needing to replace the entire lining. |

Worn elbows | | The best way to avoid this problem is by not leaning on your elbows |
Worn bottom edge | | The fur at the bottom of your coat is starting to show wear and tear. This process will be slowed down if you remember to lift the coat slightly when stepping up and down. |
Worn Cuff edges | | When driving push your sleeves up so that the steering wheel isn't consistently rubbing on the cuffs. |
Worn Pocket edges | | To avoid worn pocket edges do not put anything including your hands in the pockets. We recommend that you use your inside pocket. |
